The Young Heart and Her Words
copyrights to Aeppol |
A young heart has learned a word,
A word that makes
things fun and exciting.
A liking to the word has turned her into a princess,
A princess who
dreams of happily ever after.
At a very young age, her vocabulary expanded,
Yet worlds around
her collided.
The young heart beats for a boy,
A boy who was as
innocent as a lamb.
This boy has taught her a word,
A word that made
her change her world.
She learned to fight for the heart,
And this word became
her sword.
The young heart blossoms like flowers in the spring,
And she has grown
a pair of wings.
The single word that she learns from her younger years,
Became two like a
pair of twins.
The words might look the same,
Yet they mean
differently.
The young heart was as grown up as a tree,
Yet she became
confused with all the words she has acquired.
The words became a blur to her,
A memory that she
can't recover.
She prays for the word to mean something,
Yet no miracles
has come upon her.
The young heart became insane,
So she was locked
up in a cage,
Then, a saviour came, but he's many years too late,
For he had given
up his heart to another girl.
The young heart died in the end,
And not a single
kiss could wake her up.
