Fame and Glory

Fame and glory that's what they want,

Yet they make their way no matter what.

They followed the master of greed and envy,

And continuously lost their way.

A road they should not take, but risk it all,

Death may be the end result, but nothing beats it all.

Fame and glory become their name,

Love and Faith become their enemy.

Going back won't be the same for all things gone and faded.

Redemption they should seek and atonement they should make.

Let them wander more, then find their way back home.

When you meet the master of envy and greed,

Make haste and run for your life.

Hide if you can and never seek for them.

Let your faith guide you, and love be your tool.

Love and Faith will help you all the way,

While fame and glory will drag you down.
