My Lost Boy

Peter Pan took my child, And brought him to Neverland. He's one of the lost boys, Keeping an eye on us. I wish to see him happy, Even though I am sleepy. I want to hold his hand, And give him forehead kisses. In my window Tink would knock, In her heels is my lost boy. A smile I would see, And my heart will be filled. Peter Pan take care of my child, Let him think of happy thoughts. Keep him away from Captain Hook, So he won't get hooked and cooked. May my lost boy forgives me, And remembers that I love him. Let the sirens sing my  lullaby, And comfort be given to him. Peter Pan took my child, and brought him to Neverland. He's my lost, lost boy, And I love him dearly.

Room

Her pillow was her witness, For all the tears she shed. Her blanket was her comfort, When she was broken and torn. The walls had been her friend, For they had lent her their ears. The ceiling wished her goodnight, For it's the least it can do. Her room was her haven, But her life was never a heaven. She only wished to be dead, But even Death had forsaken her.

Her Autumn

She painted her nails black as she prepares for her death, and wore her favorite black dress. She combed her short hair one last time and put on her favorite perfume. She watched herself in the mirror as she forces a smile into her lips. This will be the last time, she had told herself and everything will be okay. She left her bed unkempt, and windows wide open. She closed the door behind and headed downstairs to meet her mourners. They took her hand, but they didn't see the look on her eyes. She had whispered goodbye, but they only bid her farewell as if she will return. In her lips was the word sorry that she would never utter again. For the day when the leaves fall on the ground, was the day that she had left this world.

Roses and Voices

There are voices in her head, Whispering she'll be dead. She painted her roses black, For she's never going back. She hummed a lullaby, A gift for her goodbye. She cut the cord; now, she's numb and cold.

A poem not meant to write

It all happened in September, But not under the purple sky. In an app where you swipe right. She sought love and they matched. She received a simple "hi" And she responded with a hey. Another night has passed, and she thought it would end. Their conversations continuously flow, But her walls also grow. She didn't want to write about him, Yet she had already wrote a poem. She knew she would disappear, Yet, her expectations were violated. He had given her assurance, but she's still scared and unsure. She asked when he'd be gone, but the question was returned to her. Tears ran down her cheeks, And she wept until dusk. She was so scared to be left, But she was more scared to be hurt. She wished she hadn't continued, she wished they hadn't matched. She wished they hadn't talked, She wished they hadn't met. Now she's alone with a pen, creating another art.

Lost Soul

She walks down the aisle, Wearing black and without a smile. Flowers do not bloom that time, And in the dark the dead rise. Her eyes were red, and her lips were violet. She wished to wake, But she's chained to a bed. Her cries drowned the night. And the stars mourned for her. Six feet underground she lies, With flowers in her feet. One last kiss she received, And she is forever forgotten.

Late night

She lied in bed, Waiting for sleep. Yet, it was sadness who came, Bringing tears in her eyes. She asked why? But there was only silence, Making it a lot worse. She wished comfort would come, But instead loneliness approached.
