A poem not meant to write

It all happened in September, But not under the purple sky. In an app where you swipe right. She sought love and they matched. She received a simple "hi" And she responded with a hey. Another night has passed, and she thought it would end. Their conversations continuously flow, But her walls also grow. She didn't want to write about him, Yet she had already wrote a poem. She knew she would disappear, Yet, her expectations were violated. He had given her assurance, but she's still scared and unsure. She asked when he'd be gone, but the question was returned to her. Tears ran down her cheeks, And she wept until dusk. She was so scared to be left, But she was more scared to be hurt. She wished she hadn't continued, she wished they hadn't matched. She wished they hadn't talked, She wished they hadn't met. Now she's alone with a pen, creating another art.

Lost Soul

She walks down the aisle, Wearing black and without a smile. Flowers do not bloom that time, And in the dark the dead rise. Her eyes were red, and her lips were violet. She wished to wake, But she's chained to a bed. Her cries drowned the night. And the stars mourned for her. Six feet underground she lies, With flowers in her feet. One last kiss she received, And she is forever forgotten.

Late night

She lied in bed, Waiting for sleep. Yet, it was sadness who came, Bringing tears in her eyes. She asked why? But there was only silence, Making it a lot worse. She wished comfort would come, But instead loneliness approached.

Cuddle Weather

The rain is singing our song, A melody that I cannot forget. In late September night, I have found you with a light. You always give me warmth, When the days are very cold. Your touch gives me comfort, In the midst of a great storm. When my life is gray, You bring the bluest sky. You keep me on my feet, Though I am falling apart. When the clouds stop rolling in, My love for you won't change, For you are my world, And I'll be forever yours.                                                       ~dhahab 🌙️

PMAMB

Rhum we have drunk, At the roof top in the dark. We watched a movie, Where the lead is not us. At 3 am you ask questions, But I never answered. In the break of dawn, Both of us yawn. Sleepy we are, Yet we stayed awake. Then we kissed in the dark, And I know we are just drunk. Time passed by, And we are still this way. Until lately you have called, And said I'm your dear friend.

Exhausted

The brain sighed, The body collapsed. On the floor, she lay, With eyes too heavy. She sat and lied, Unable to decide. The bed awaits her, And comforts her. She closed her eyes, And sigh with happiness. She cuddled her pillows, And ease her tiredness.

Our Break Up Poem

A message of hello, With a reply of goodbye. A smile on your face, Marks the change in our fate. You cheer me up, Before we broke up, A million reasons you told me, But only one marks the most. You give up on me, Before you even try. You held my hand, But you soon let go.
